    • written mainly for the use of systems managers and software installers rather than normal users,

  • This particular set of pages are "Generic" and supplied as files within the software distribution as:

$autoPROC_home/docs/installation/index.html
Tip The Generic page does not have a download section and the initial installation section has been removed (because to see the page you must have downloaded and done the initial install).

Please note this version of autoPROC is for academic users and its download, installation and use is conditional on acceptance of the licence conditions. Please carefully review these licence conditions before download, installation or use.

    • Use the instructions for the closest OS listed.

    • 32-bit Linux installations are deprecated and instructions are no longer provided.

    • Let us know and we will endeavour to provide instructions for your OS.
      [Note that this can be difficult/impossible for obsolete OS’s that are no longer supported by the OS provider.]
