[sharp-discuss] ERROR : Cannot read OS primitives !

I believe I accurately followed (as a SysAdmin) all instructions on this page...

 but maybe I missed something...

My problems begin when I run the newuser program to add my first SHARP user...

Rcv'd the message with instructions such as this:

Logged in fresh to the userid account as a regular user.

The result of running:

    /usr/local/sharp/bin/useSHARP userid

where, userid is valid,

yields this output:

   ERROR : Cannot read OS primitives !
