Dear Klaus,
this is actually a new 'feature': if you're running SHARP in Expert
mode this boxes will become activated. The same kind of feature is
also implemented in the Phase Improvement and Interpretation Panel
(after you've run SHARP): some fields can't be edited.
I would always start with the suggestions given in this 'beginners'
mode. During phase improvement (density modification) you might want
to change a few things once you're sure you're on the right track and
have the right hand.
However, especially for the various non-isomorphism parameters I would
refrain from estimating these - at least with the current version of
SHARP (where this estimation is less than optimal). Future versions of
SHARP will have much more robust estimation routines. And you should
be carefull NOT to specify e.g.
- refinement/estimation of *_ISO parameters for the first dataset
- refinement/estimation of *_ANO parameters if no DANO/SANO is
present
and similar pitfalls.
Cheers
Clemens
