Dear Clemens,
Thanks for your reply.
OK, I will try to install Netscape or Mozilla.

Here's what I did.
[raji@toucan ~]$ cd sharp/
raji@toucan/sharp> source ./setup.csh
raji@toucan/sharp> adm/bin/kill_server
adm/bin/kill_server: kill: (16198) - No such pid
raji@toucan/sharp> adm/bin/restart_server
raji@toucan/sharp> adm/bin/check_server
A SHARP server is running on
       toucan:8081

* Also, I installed as 'user' NOT 'root'. I am a user with no root
capabilities.
* There's no problem with hostname.
* I used the supplied httpd binary during installation.
* Here's the error_log

raji@toucan/sharp> more $BDG_home/sushi/logs/error_log
[Mon May 31 21:36:11 2004] [crit] (98)Address already in use: make_sock: could

* No variables have been defined under ~/.cshrc

So, where exactly is my problem?
I also have saved every single line from the output on the terminal during
SHARP installation.
Would you be able to diagnose better if you saw it? Pl. let me know and I will
send it.
Thanks very much,
Raji
