[sharp-discuss] Finding NCS Problems

Dear Paul,

at the moment, we're distributing a getax binary (since it was newer
than the CCP4 4.2.2 version. However, if you have CCP4 5.0.2 installed
and use it with SHARP, you can use the $CBIN/getax version instead.

To tell SHARP this, please remove/rename the
$BDG_home/bin/linux_exe/getax binary (in your case
/cove/user3/paul/sharp/bin/linux_exe/getax), e.g. to
/cove/user3/paul/sharp/bin/linux_exe/getax_do_not_use.

Then try again.

Also: the whole GETAX interface is not as user-friendly as it could be
(working on it). So you need to look at the log-files for all the
Rotatio/Translation solutions. And have a look at the various produced
g_dm_*.mtz files (FDM/PHIDM will give you the averaged map).

Cheers

Clemens
