[sharp-discuss] Phasing with heavy atom clusters

Hi all

What's the best way to start with phasing with heavy atom clusters? (assuming I have the coordinates of the cluster from another source)

Should one start with a single scatterer ( a single C-site) an do the phasing at low resolution? 

Or completely specify all the heavy atoms of the cluster and phase up to the diffraction limit (specifying SPHCLUSTER)? 
(or bootstrap low res single scatterer, to complete description of the cluster to high res ?


Anyone with practical experience in phasing with heavy atom clusters would be greatly appreciated (off list if need be).
