Sushi 3.0.15 - release notes
This is a list of changes since the last Sushi production release
(3.0.14). Please note, that autoSHARP is part of Sushi - so a
lot of the changes/improvements actually concern autoSHARP and not
only the interface.
The easiest way to get everything into place properly, is to
- download all new
packages (requires password, see password reminder)
- update your existing installation:
% cd $BDG_home
% adm/bin/kill_server
% ./installSHARP -U
Alternativel, if you want to install everything afresh:
- download all new
packages (requires password, see password reminder)
- create a new directory and install:
% mkdir /public/sharp
% cd /public/sharp
% ./installSHARP -f
- or -
% ./installSHARP -F
Please read the SHARP
Installation Instructions carefully.
Changes since version 3.0.14
- autoSHARP
- added more checks throughout
- can now be run independent of the httpd (i.e. with
everything in single directory)
- some changes/fixes to density modification (to speed things up)
and ARP/wARP part (to build more) of autoSHARP
- now does more than one pass through interpretation of
residual maps: this way we can start from very few sites and add
more during refinement/interpretation.
- automatic building with ARP/wARP 6.0 now reports some basic
stats
- small changes so that handling of several molecules/asu becomes
more automatic
- more automation in defining starting heavy atom parameters
(like temperature factors)
- slightly changed defaults in HA detection
- changes in automatic interpretation of residual maps -
should be more robust now
- the problem with MTZ files seen but no column labels visible
should be sorted
- tested with latest CCP4 release (4.2.2) (as well as with
ccp4-4.2.2-cvX)
- tested with latest Perl release (5.8.0)
- tested on i86/Linux (RedHat 7.1, 7.3, 8.0, Debian 3.0),
HP-Compaq/Tru64 (4.0F, V5.1) and SGI/IRIX (6.5.16m)
