Known problems for SHARP/autoSHARP
Please see the SHARP/autoSHARP wiki for up-to-date information.
- On newer (or updated) Linux distributions you could encounter
an error during installation or setup of the SHARP httpd
server. The reason is a compilation fault caused by a conflicting
declaration of "getline". A possible workaround is to still
follow the instructions given in the httpd.README_GPhL, with one
additional step before the "configure" step:
% cp -p src/support/logresolve.c src/support/logresolve.c.orig
% sed "s/getline/mygetline/g" src/support/logresolve.c.orig > src/support/logresolve.c
% cp -p src/support/htdigest.c src/support/htdigest.c.orig
% sed "s/getline/mygetline/g" src/support/htdigest.c.orig > src/support/htdigest.c
% cp -p src/support/htpasswd.c src/support/htpasswd.c.orig
% sed "s/getline/mygetline/g" src/support/htpasswd.c.orig > src/support/htpasswd.c
frcdis binary might not work: please substitute the files
bin/linux_exe/frcdis or bin/linux64_exe/frcdis with one of the
following: bin_linux64_frcdis or bin_linux_frcdis. Ensure to use the correct filename and also
to have it executable (chmod +x).
the interface to automatic building using ARP/wARP will not
